Finished my first crop top
lengthened the body and the sleeves.Happy with the result .
Have started the Dunia sweater have pulled it out twice pattern not the problem just not happy with stitch pick up on fronts never tried the European method top down.
Want to use real wool yarn as in my Gotland yarn.
New colour in 8 ply raven will skein up this week .granitehavenllamas.com.au
Raven 4ply was used in Nordiska

The first shed multi purpose made from tin from the tip, thank goodness that did not last for too many years.

Wind in the south,glad we kept fire going.Hope rain is on the way.Cattle enjoying the sun sheep still in bed.On the last sleeve of Nordiska very happy with the natural grey and the rust with the almost black with highlights in 4 ply.
Must get this done before Axedale visit.
Must start to skein up yarn.

Another day mixing colours too many interruptions of a connectivity issue now back on line hopefully.Only 4 kilograms achieved today but colours good.

Great weather time to mix some colours,never sure how the colours will develop but that's the fun.Aim to do at least 8 kilograms this week.Concentrating on 8 ply Gotland next week 4 ply.
Very happy with the 4 ply crop top by C HUNTER I made the body longer as well as the sleeves just to suit my age ??.Natural gotland grey and the rust and the almost black with highlights looks great..

Well on the way with Nordiska this pattern is a pleasure to knit.I've used my natural grey Gotland 4 ply and overdyed the 4 ply for stranded colourway knitting.
It was just a case of making a decision about the colours there where many variations but these are what I used and I think it has worked.
Next challenge will be to find another pattern that will increase my skills.
The weather makes it a time to spend time mixing dyes creating some new colourways.Inspiration all around the farm.

Had a few sunny days so mixing colours.
My other project the Nordiska a lovely pattern knitting in my 4 ply natural grey and the gotland grey overdyed in a amazing sort of black with tones of magnolia hope I can reproduce it.The other is a rust variation.
There seems to be alot of viruses around we need that warmer weather to make them disappear.
No up coming events at the moment.

This project is knitting up beautifully in natural Gotland 4 ply. I've knitted enough to show the cable raglan seams.The weight is light so a good garment for in between seasons.The natural grey variation sets it off. Good stitch definition may be some aran cables on another project.

Sometimes it takes me a while to work out a pattern .This is Nordiska by C Hunter just love the way she has designed it. It's knitting up beautifully in my natural grey 4 ply the cabled raglan is a feature.Not sure on the 3rd colour but the black with red highlights is a must.Hope I can reproduce this colour,red highlights remind me of Gotland genetics ? Karakul. This will be a light weight top ,good drape,great natural grey variation the over dyed 4 ply should pop.
