If you’ve got a DO35/45 hitch top-mounted on your caravan drawbar, you might notice the cable rubbing on the underside of the cross member due to the raised handbrake mechanism.

This can fray the cable, cause premature failure, or even become a safety hazard when unhitching your caravan—potentially leading to a runaway.

I’m selling an aluminum extension bracket that easily attaches to the existing handbrake.

What you get is:
1 Aluminum Extension Bracket (see photos attached)
1 25mm G316 bolt
1 washer
1 nylon nut
Postage is included Australia-wide.
For $55.00 each

I would also recommend replacing any removed nuts with new nylon nuts, which I can supply for an additional fee.

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately as of the 21/3/26 i have had to stop work due to suffering a complete rupture to my distal tendon which requires surgery.
Surgery will be taking place as of Friday,10th, and word has it, recovery maybe up to 12 months.
I will continue to post updates via this page, so stay posted....

Another start to the week, with some cooler weather - how good was it for you?
Back chasing the lawn mower tomorrow for a few clients, and lets hope the lawns aren't that long - price of fuel will certainly bite into the hip pocket a tad.
So how is everyone going for petrol and diesel??? Did you go out and buy ya fuel and get toilet paper in bulk as well....
Hard times ahead of us all in the future!

For all your welding needs Hombres Garage is the only place you need to go to - Gerri has fabricated the bracket for my rear bar for toolbox to be placed onto.

Some photos of the toolbox on the rear of the caravan.
A new frame and aluminum plate was built by Hombres Garage (designs, fabricates and welds).
New indicator lights and a new license plate bracket will be installed shortly.
A new bracket for spare wheel will be made and installed at the front on the A frame.

Been another week of mowing lawns, painting of ceilings, as well as purchasing materials for bracket for a toolbox for the caravan (thanks Gerri Attic for making it - looks amazing on the photos - Hombre welding.)
