Winter in QLD is without a doubt one of the best times of year to be out on the water, whether it’s weekend getaways, bay cruising or longer trips offshore.

With the weather we’ve had lately, a lot of boats have spent more time sitting idle than usual. Before the next adventure, it’s always a good idea to make sure your electrical systems are operating as they should and ready to go when you need them.

Did you know smoke alarms should be regularly inspected to ensure they’re working correctly and compliant with current Queensland legislation?

For May & June, Electech is offering a $50 + GST Smoke Alarm Inspection for homes in Wynnum, Manly & Lota.

Our inspection includes:
✅ Smoke alarm testing
✅ Battery & fault checks
✅ Compliance assessment
✅ Advice on any upgrades required

If your property is compliant, we can issue a compliance certificate.
If not, we’ll explain exactly what’s needed to bring it up to standard.

Smoke alarm inspections are especially important:
• Before selling or renting a property
• For landlords and property investors
• If you haven’t checked your alarms in years
• Heading into winter when heater and electrical fire risks increase
