Today we transformed this backyard by removing the tired existing lawn, preparing the area, and installing 45m² of premium Village Green Kikuyu turf.

The result is a fresh, clean lawn that will establish quickly and provide the homeowners with a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy.

PLANTER BOX DRAINAGE & WATERPROOFING PREPARATION COMPLETE ✅

Another canal-front project completed by Diggermate Mandurah.

This project involved excavating and removing the existing sand from behind the planter box walls to allow for waterproofing works, followed by the installation of a new drainage system to protect the structure long-term.

Works completed included:

✔ Excavation behind planter box walls
✔ Preparation for waterproofing application
✔ Installation of geotextile drainage fabric
✔ Supply and placement of blue metal drainage aggregate
✔ Installation of agricultural (AG) drain pipe
✔ Backfilling and drainage preparation
✔ Tight-access material handling and clean-up

Proper drainage is critical behind any retaining or planter wall. Without it, water pressure can build up over time and lead to costly damage. The new AG pipe and blue metal drainage layer will help direct water away from the structure and improve the performance of the waterproofing system.

Another challenging tight-access job completed by Diggermate Mandurah.

This project involved the removal of existing pavers from a canal-front property with extremely limited access. The star of the show was the mighty Wacker Neuson SM50D.

To be honest, this machine continues to impress. With the engine barely above idle, the torque was absolutely ridiculous. It didn't even flinch while lifting and moving heavy pavers and materials through the tight-access area. Small machine, serious capability.
