Business update:
Hi everyone,
Effective immediately, I have decided to put Innovative Appliance Repairs on hold.
It wasn’t an easy decision after 10 years of operation.
It has been advertised on marketplace and will see if any interest is there.
Please don’t hesitate to share the ad if you know someone who’d like to take over.
Unfortunately due to these uncertain times, a lot of small businesses are closing down.
There is no government help and we are to keep our businesses afloat ourselves.
I am going to keep the business active and may come back to it.
That includes paying for our website and advertising etc etc.
In the meantime, I am going back to FIFO on a 1 week on, 1 week off roster and starting early July.
It’s possible that I’ll do the odd job on my R&R but haven’t decided yet.
My decision wasn’t just based on income, although we shouldn’t have to chase overdue invoices for months on end.
A few health and personal problems over the past 5 years has contributed to my decision.
Innovative Appliance Repairs can earn a good income but running it alone makes it hard to branch out or expand it.
I want to thank all of my customers, whether you are returning customers or not. I have always aimed to provide a professional and cost effective service.
As said, I may fall back on to the business at a later date or run it on my week off.
As most of you would know, I love helping people. Please sing out if you only have a question or would like direction with something.
