🚨 SUNDAY NIGHT EMERGENCY

🌆This building is only a year old and after this weekend’s rain 🌧, the top floor was flooding and it was all due to blocked pipe work in the car park ! 🤯

Why?? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️ Because as you can see, these pipes were blocked with concrete, which ended up in there from when tiling was completed on a higher level during the build 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

We used a high pressure water jet to clear it and repaired the pipe once we were done ✅ 😎

🌲 Tree roots collapsed this boundary trap (2.9meters down in the ground).
👨‍🔧In order to fix this, we had to dig ⛏deep down to the trap, shoring within the dug out section to make the area safe and replace the collapsed trap. 🧱🌳

Not afraid to get our hands dirty 😬

This is what happens when the sewer pipe on the ground floor of a 12 story block of units is blocked and overflowing.

This toilet overflowed and flooded into the car park and down into the lift well 🚽 🧻

Yep, that’s not just water down there…

This is a picture of tree roots that had grown within 14 meters of pipe work, tangled and all compacted together.

How crazy right?! Mind - blown 🤯

Due to the current NSW health restrictions on construction, we will only be operating for emergency work up until 11:59pm June 30th.

This block of units had a completely collapsed sewer line, so we weren’t able to reline 🛑

In order to fix this issue, the best option was to dig down, remove the old pipe work and replace it with a new one!

🚧 This top floor unit in Zetland had an ongoing leak coming from their ceiling for

wait for it……………

7 years!!!!!! 🙀

Gyprockers had screwed into the slab and through a pipe which was inside it 😵🤪

As we were not allowed to cut through the slab to access and replace the penetrated section of pipe work, a patching was required!

We patched a 1 meter section of the pipe, which sealed the hole that was created within the small 50mm pipe.

A 6 year problem fixed within 3 hours, what’s better than that?? 🤩🥳🤩🥳

Happy tenants = happy plumber 👨‍🔧😁
