Tactile Indicators Perth Tactile Indicators Perth has been servicing the Perth metro area with a high quality concrete stick

The intention of this page, other than promoting the work we do, is to create an environment that is missing in the Tactile Paving industry in Perth. We would like this to be a location where customers can view our previous work and our current projects, and also where our clients can leave questions or perhaps criticisms so that we can improve our business model to better serve our clients.

Today these tactile indicators might seem like a small detail in a new subdivision, but they are already helping build a safer and more accessible community.

This recent Stikcrete® concrete TGSI installation in Singleton was completed alongside Broadtrans Civil as part of the ongoing development works.

Designed to become part of the finished asset, our Stikcrete® concrete TGSI are concrete-to-concrete bonded and strong enough to withstand the trade traffic, service vehicles, and day-to-day activity that occur throughout construction.

Long before the first residents move in, the infrastructure that helps people navigate safely is already in place.

Thank you to Broadtrans Civil for the opportunity to be involved in another quality civil project.

Good feedback is always appreciated - especially when it comes from long-term customers who value reliability, communication, and quality outcomes.

From scheduling and coordination through to final installation, we understand that consistency matters.

Our Stikcrete® concrete TGSI are concrete-to-concrete bonded and designed for long-term performance in WA conditions - helping reduce the lifting, curling, and maintenance issues often associated with plastic alternatives over time.

Failing tactile ground surface indicators do not just look untidy. They can become trip hazards, create compliance issues, and reduce the reliability of important pedestrian infrastructure for members of the vision impaired community.

Recent replacement works for the City of Cockburn involved removing old lifting plastic TGSI and replacing them with new Stikcrete® concrete TGSI across several pram ramps.

At Tactile Indicators Perth, our replacement process focuses on delivering a long-term outcome - not just a quick patch-up.

That includes:
• Removing failed tactiles and adhesive residue
• Grinding and preparing the surface correctly
• Ensuring alignment and placement are compliant
• Installing new concrete TGSI using concrete-to-concrete adhesive systems
• Leaving behind a clean, safe, reliable finish built for WA conditions

Our Stikcrete® concrete TGSI are designed to resist the lifting, curling, and movement often seen with plastic alternatives over time - helping crossings remain safer and lower maintenance into the future.

Thank you to the City of Cockburn for continuing to trust Stikcrete® concrete TGSI for upgrade and replacement works across the community.

Clear communication, dependable scheduling, and consistency in conjunction with a reliable product are what allow councils and project teams to confidently keep works moving.

This recent Stikcrete® concrete TGSI installation in Fremantle for our long-standing loyal customer, the City of Fremantle, is an example of that ongoing relationship in practice.

At Tactile Indicators Perth, we understand that reliability matters just as much as the finished installation itself.

That means:

• Turning up when scheduled
• Communicating clearly throughout the works
• Coordinating effectively with surrounding trades and stakeholders
• Delivering clean, compliant installations that are built to last

Our Stikcrete® concrete TGSI are concrete-to-concrete bonded and designed for long-term performance in WA conditions — helping provide safe, reliable pedestrian infrastructure across Fremantle and beyond.

We appreciate the continued trust the City of Fremantle has placed in our team over many years.

Thank you City of Fremantle.

Tactile ground surface indicators (TGSI) should become part of the asset - not a future maintenance issue.

One of the biggest differences between Stikcrete® concrete TGSI and plastic alternatives is the way they bond to the surface.

Our panels are concrete-to-concrete adhered using high-performance concrete adhesive systems, helping create long-term installations that resist the lifting, curling, and movement often seen with plastic alternatives over time.

That matters in WA conditions.

Heat, UV exposure, heavy pedestrian traffic, and constant expansion and contraction can quickly expose weaknesses in inferior systems.

Stikcrete® concrete TGSI are designed specifically to handle those conditions while maintaining a clean, compliant finish that continues performing years after installation.

Because good infrastructure should not only look right on day one.

It should still be performing properly years later - something we are confident this recent installation in Mandogolup, completed alongside Wormall Civil, will continue to do.

Thank you Wormall Civil for your continued trust in Stikcrete® concrete TGSI.

As we move from this week into the next, we’re proud to look back on another series of installations helping improve accessibility across Perth.

This yellow Stikcrete® concrete TGSI installation in Hawthorn for the City of Vincent is a simple example of infrastructure quietly doing its job — providing a clear tactile warning cue for pedestrians approaching the roadway.

While many people walk across tactile indicators without a second thought, for members of the vision impaired community they are an important source of information and independence in the built environment.

Clean finishes, strong contrast, and long-term durability matter.

That is why our Stikcrete® concrete TGSI are designed specifically for WA conditions and concrete-to-concrete bonded for reliable long-term performance.

Thank you to the City of Vincent for the continued support.

Wishing everyone a safe weekend and a good chance to unwind and recharge.

Smooth communication, responsiveness, and reliability behind the scenes are what keep projects moving.

At Tactile Indicators Perth, we understand that installing tactile ground surface indicators (TGSI) is only one part of the job and that our customers are managing multiple moving parts on every project. Our goal is to make the tactile component straightforward, reliable, and easy to manage.

That means:
• Communicating clearly before, during and upon completion of works
• Turning up when scheduled
• Coordinating effectively with other trades onsite
• Providing completion photos promptly
• Delivering clean, compliant installations with minimal disruption

It is something we have built our reputation on across Perth and regional WA since 2001.

We appreciate the continued support from the councils, contractors, and project teams who trust Stikcrete® concrete TGSI and the team at Tactile Indicators Perth.

Good infrastructure matters. Good service behind it matters too.

Signature Civil, thank you for this fantastic review. Feedback like this means a great deal to our team and reflects the pride we take in delivering reliable service, clear communication, and quality outcomes on every project.

As we cross safely from this week into the next, it’s a good reminder of the role these small pieces of infrastructure play every day.

This recent Stikcrete® concrete TGSI installation in Wandi, delivered alongside Prime Civil, provides a clear, consistent tactile cue right where it’s needed most - at the point of crossing.

Set cleanly onto the concrete and aligned with the direction of travel, these panels are designed to do their job quietly and reliably over time. Just part of the path for most, but essential information underfoot for people with vision impairment.

From the team at Tactile Indicators Perth, we wish everyone a safe and relaxing weekend - and safe crossings into the week ahead.
