If you receive a quote from a driller and they require a minimum quantity, minimum depth or minimum cost, RUN AWAY!

That is classic, dodgy, fly-by-night, shady business practices.
This shows the driller does not know anything about your area but won't admit to not knowing everything.

Warning: Beware of Inexperienced out-of-town Drillers!

If you have any concerns or queries, email, message or call us for an unbiased discussion and obligation-free quote.

• Untrustworthy Practices: New drillers are entering the Mackay region, offering low rates but drilling to excessive depths for no additional benefit. These drillers are only here because they have no work in their own areas. They are not here because they care about the long-term results or solving your water issues.
• Lack of Local Knowledge: These transient drillers lack familiarity with the local geological conditions, increasing the risk of unsuccessful or hazardous drilling operations. Choose established, reputable drillers who understand the area's specific needs.
• Insurance and Liability: Exercise caution and verify that any driller you consider hiring is fully licensed and insured. Without proper insurance, you could be left bearing the financial burden of any accidents or property damages.
• Financial Security: Avoid paying in cash for these transient drillers. When these drillers vanish soon, you'll have no proof of payment or means to seek compensation for substandard work. Always insist on a payment receipt.

A quick update – and a price rise ☹

Happy first day of winter, even though it arrived a little earlier this year.
We are starting to get busier now that it’s stopped raining (for a week) so we thought it was time for an update.

The sad news:
As with a lot of industries, so far we have weathered the increasing costs of materials / fuel / labour / transport since before COVID started.
We thought it best to inform our customers and potential customers that we have an unfortunate price rise coming after July 1, 2022.
Our last price rise was in 2019 and based on our buy-price increases of raw materials, we need to have another one to stay financially viable.

For example, if a length of PVC casing cost $200 in February 2020, that same item now costs $500 due to month-on-month price increases.

The good news:
Contact us today to lock in the old price until September 30th 2022 or until we can drill your bore (whichever is sooner).

For most of Bucasia (and some parts of Blacks Beach and Andergrove), that means we can drill a bore and install a suitable pump with taps and connectors for $2800-$3200 (depends on final depth/location).

Water can be used for lawns, gardens, trees, fruit and vege patches, and in most places also for pool top-ups.
