✔️ Experience in timber processing or as a wood machinist (highly regarded)

We’re currently looking for a reliable and organised Office Administration Assistant to join the team at Irons Truss & Timber in Yeppoon in a permanent part-time role (20 hours per week).

This position would suit someone returning to the workforce or looking for consistent part-time hours in a supportive and professional environment.


The role includes:

• Ordering and receipting goods
• Processing supplier invoices
• General office administration
• Answering phones and assisting customers
• Filing and record keeping
• Supporting the team with day-to-day admin tasks

We’re looking for someone who:

✔ Has previous administration experience
✔ Is organised and detail-oriented
✔ Has good communication skills
✔ Works well independently and in a team
✔ Has sound computer skills

Experience in timber or building supplies would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Today we proudly celebrate an incredible milestone — 30 years of service with the Woodman Group of Companies!

Troy began his journey in our Garden Centre on Nebo Road before moving to Woodman’s Mitre 10 Gregory Street. From there, he worked at our North Mackay store, returned to Gregory Street, then back to Nebo Road. Troy later brought his skills to Woodman's Glass & Aluminium and now continues his journey with Mackay Truss and Timber
