School holidays = mixing a little work with a little play ☀️😂

Luckily, when you work around equipment, sometimes the kids are pretty happy to tag along!

We’ve been trialling some new Video VMS boards and apparently changing what’s on the screen can keep kids entertained for way longer than expected. 😂

These trailer-mounted, solar-powered LED displays have plenty of uses — traffic management, roadworks, safety messaging, emergency notifications and more.

But we’re especially excited about their potential for events 👀
Hopefully you’ll see a few of these popping up around events in our region over the next 12 months!

Work trial for us. School holiday entertainment for them. Win-win. 🙌

One little unit. A heap of uses on site. 💦

Our KBT206 300L Fire Fighting Pod isn’t just there for fire response.

Throw it on the back of the ute and it’s ready for radiator washouts on compressors, washing mud off excavator tracks, cleaning down machinery, or tidying up after field maintenance.

Powered by a Yanmar diesel engine + Davey water pump, it’s a simple, portable solution when you’re working on site or out in remote areas without easy access to water.

It’s the kind of project support equipment we focus on within our everyday KBT fleet — practical gear that keeps jobs moving, while we work alongside our supplier network to source and supply everything else your project needs.

No need to mobilise something bigger than the job requires. Load it up, fill it with 300L of water and off you go.

🏏 Proud to support local!
We’re excited to be on board as a Club Sponsor of
Pinnacle Cricket Club for the 2026/27 season.

Supporting our local community is incredibly important to us at KBT. As a small, family owned business, we know just how much local support means, and we genuinely love being in a position where we can give some of that support back.

Local sporting clubs bring people, families and communities together, and we’re proud to play a small part in supporting the people who make that happen.

We’re looking forward to a great season ahead for Pinnacle Cricket Club! 🏏🧡

🏏 WELCOME TO THE PINNACLE FAMILY | KBT INDUSTRIES & KBT HIRE 🏏

Pinnacle Cricket Club is very pleased to welcome KBT Industries and their customer-facing division, KBT Hire, as a new Club Sponsor for the 2026/27 season. 💛💚

For us, this partnership is another great example of local supporting local.

KBT is a small local business with strong roots in the Pioneer Valley and Mackay region, and supporting local sporting clubs and the community is something the team genuinely values. We are very grateful that they have chosen to get behind Pinnacle Cricket and become part of our club.

For those who aren't familiar with KBT, they make equipment hire simple. KBT provides one point of contact to source, supply and coordinate equipment for projects across Mackay, the Bowen Basin and beyond. Their network allows them to assist with everything from mine-compliant light vehicles, trailers, generators and compressors through to earthmoving equipment, water trucks, service trucks, mobile offices and other project equipment. They can also coordinate transport, servicing and maintenance throughout the hire.

Their approach is pretty straightforward: one contact, one invoice and a smarter way to organise equipment hire, while working with and supporting other local and regional suppliers along the way.

As a community cricket club in the Pioneer Valley, partnerships with businesses like KBT make a genuine difference to what we can provide for our senior and junior players.

A big Pinnacle welcome and thank you to the KBT team. We are looking forward to having KBT Industries and KBT Hire alongside us this season and hopefully for many seasons to come. 💛💚🏏

Make sure you support the businesses that support our club.

KBT Industries is now KBT Hire. ❤️

Over the years, KBT has grown and evolved, and equipment hire has become the heart of what we do.

From our own growing fleet to working alongside trusted suppliers across QLD and NSW, we’ve built our business around finding the right equipment, getting it where it needs to go and making the hire process easier for our clients.

So really, we’re changing just one word.

We’re still the same local, family owned business. The same people. The same service, reliability and relationships you know and trust.

KBT Hire simply reflects who we are today, what we do, and where we’re heading next.

We’re incredibly proud of what KBT Industries has grown into, and even more excited about what comes next.

Welcome to KBT Hire 👋

🚁 30 years of CQ Rescue 💙

KBT was very proud to once again sponsor the CQ Rescue Gala Ball this year, celebrating 30 years of an incredible service to our region.

It was an amazing night that raised over $360,000 for CQ Rescue and the lifesaving work they continue to provide across our community.

CQ Rescue holds a special place in our hearts, as it does for so many people across our region, and we feel incredibly privileged that, as a small local family-owned business, we’re able to give back and support a service that is there for our community when it matters most.

Congratulations to everyone involved in another incredible event and an amazing 30-year milestone. 🚁💙

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐛𝐮𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞?

For many businesses, hiring equipment simply makes sense.

It gives you access to the equipment you need, when you need it, without tying up capital in assets that may spend part of the year sitting idle.

It also gives your business flexibility.

Project ramps up? Bring more equipment in.
Job finishes? Send it back.
Need something different for the next project? Hire what actually suits the work.

Less capital tied up in equipment. Less maintenance to manage. More flexibility to respond to what your business needs right now.

And when you work with the right hire partner, sourcing and managing that equipment becomes a whole lot easier too. 👌🏽
