🔨 Staircase Demolition & Raised Footpath Installation 🔨

This job involved removing an old staircase that had been incorrectly installed and had started to sink and tilt, creating a clear trip hazard for the homeowner.
We replaced it with a new, properly built staircase and also installed a raised footpath to make moving around the backyard safer and more comfortable. The previous ground levels were uneven and sloped, making it difficult to walk through the area without strain.
The new pathway now provides a level, stable surface, improving both safety and accessibility around the property.

What started as a simple mango tree canopy reduction quickly turned into a preventative safety measure.
While carrying out the trim, we discovered significant internal rot at the base of a large limb — likely caused by an old pruning wound that hadn’t sealed properly. From the outside it wasn’t obvious, but internally the decay had progressed and was weakening the branch.
The compromised limb was safely removed and the affected section cut out before it became a much bigger issue for the residents and surrounding property.
This is a great example of why regular tree assessments are important — especially coming into storm season. Hidden decay isn’t always visible until it’s too late.

Major Tree Reduction to Warm Up This Home 🌞🌳

We recently reduced 4 large trees by around three-quarters to allow more sunlight to reach the home during the colder months. The heavy shade had been keeping the house quite cold in winter.

As requested, green waste was chipped on-site and left behind to be used as garden mulch. ✅

We were called in to remove a large tree over 15 meters tall, positioned dangerously close to power lines. This job required precision, planning, and skilled climbing. Our crew safely ascended the tree and carefully dismantled it piece by piece to avoid any risk to the surrounding infrastructure.

Garden Bed Edging Revamp – Built to Last!

We recently completed a full makeover on this garden bed edging. The original edging wasn’t set in concrete, which meant the posts were left exposed to the soil and moisture. Over time, they rotted away and the whole structure started to fall apart — a dodgy job that didn’t stand the test of time.

We pulled out the old edging and replaced it with solid concrete footings, giving it a strong, durable foundation that will hold up for years to come.

We also removed 1.2 tonnes of uneven river rock, which was not only unattractive but also posed a trip hazard. In its place, we installed fresh turf for a clean, safe, and low-maintenance finish.

Big Tree, Big Job! 🌳✂️

We recently tackled a massive tree lopping project where overgrown limbs were hanging into a backyard, causing major issues. This tree wasn’t just dropping leaves—it was trapping moisture, rotting out the fence and wooden barbecue area, and making the outdoor space completely unusable.

To make things even more challenging, access was extremely limited, meaning we couldn’t use a boom lift. Instead, our skilled arborist had to climb over 12 meters high to safely remove the tree—something that requires specialized training and experience.

In total, we removed nearly 2 tonnes of green waste and restored the client’s outdoor area.
