Is a faulty appliance tripping your safety switch?

Last week we explained why your safety switch might keep tripping. This week, we’re showing you how to narrow down the cause!

You might be surprised how often an everyday appliance can be responsible.

🔌 Here’s something people often forget!

Not every appliance is sitting out in plain sight.

Dishwashers, waste disposal units and other appliances can have their power points hidden away under the kitchen sink or behind cupboards.

If you’re checking for a faulty appliance, remember to unplug these too, where safe and accessible.

At RNA Electrical Services, we believe supporting our local community is just as important as the work we do every day.

That’s why we were proud to sponsor the Mackay Wanderers U7s as they headed north to Bowen for the Corey Jensen Rugby League Carnival! 🐓

What a fantastic opportunity for these young legends to get out on the field, have a crack, build friendships and make some great memories!

For us, junior sport is about so much more than winning games. It’s about teamwork, confidence, resilience and learning to give everything you’ve got — lessons that stick with kids long after the final whistle.

And judging by the smiles, our little Chooks had an absolute ball! 💚

👏 A huge thank you to the coaches, volunteers, parents and organisers who make carnivals like this possible.

We’re also proud to stand alongside fellow sponsors Daly Bay (DBCT) and JS Chetcuti Transport in supporting the team.

As a locally owned family business, seeing these kids running around with the RNA logo on their jerseys is something pretty special.

⚡ THE LIGHTS WERE ON… BUT THE NEUTRAL WAS BROKEN! ⚡

🚨 A dangerous electrical fault hiding in plain sight!

During a recent job, RNA Electrical Services discovered a broken neutral connection at the property’s electrical supply.

This isn’t just a loose wire. A broken neutral can create a potentially dangerous situation, including:

⚠️ Electric shock hazards
⚠️ Dangerous voltage fluctuations
⚠️ Damage to appliances and electronics
⚠️ Increased risk of electrical fires
⚠️ Electrical equipment becoming unsafe
