These new lithium batteries worry me

A man in Newcastle was forced to jump out of a window to escape a fire thought to have been started by a faulty Lithium powered e-scooter.

The blaze broke out around 11pm while the homeowner was fast asleep, but fortunately his neighbour heard the smoke alarm and woke him up.

Never charge your Lithium powered e-scooters or devices while you are sleeping or not at home.
