We are proud to announce the Stage 3 Broadcast Lighting Upgrade at Karen Rolton Oval.

This milestone marks the continuation of our strong partnership with SACA, delivering the third stage of a transformative upgrade to one of South Australia’s premier sporting venues.

Through CME’s unique ECI-to-D&C approach, we’ve brought world-leading products and innovative solutions to the forefront ensuring the facility is equipped to meet the highest broadcast standards.

We are looking forward to seeing the Australian Women’s team take on New Zealand this March a landmark moment for women’s sport in South Australia and a showcase of what this upgrade makes possible.

Celebrating International Women’s Day with some of our emerging stars.

On Friday, CME was proud to celebrate International Women’s Day by attending the Women in Civil International Women’s Day Luncheon at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

It was a privilege to take some of the incredible women from our CME team to join industry leaders in recognising the contribution women make across civil, construction, and infrastructure sectors.

Chris Mattner, CEO of CME, sharing insights into CME’s upcoming projects, innovations, and the future of stadium and major venue infrastructure at the ASTN × LIV Golf Sportstech Showcase and Industry Event at Lot Fourteen, .

At CME, our approach is end-to-end, from conception and design through to delivery and completion with ongoing support. This allows us to create fully integrated, future-ready solutions that enhance performance, sustainability, and fan experience.

Chris presented how twilight golf, combined with daytime/twilight/nightplay, could deliver the ultimate fan experience. When lighting is fully integrated with sport, those big sporting moments, amplified through dynamic lighting effects, elevate emotion, atmosphere, and engagement. Same psychology. Different game.

As part of our Thorn Lighting & Zumtobel Group partnership journey, CME Stadium Tour #7 took us inside the state-of-the-art SAP Garden Arena, the new home of EHC Red Bull Munich and FC Bayern Munich Basketball.

As stadium lighting specialists, this was an exceptional opportunity to experience one of Europe’s newest and most technologically advanced arenas, purpose-built to redefine fan engagement, performance and premium hospitality.

SAP Garden is a next-generation venue where lighting plays a central role in shaping atmosphere, broadcast quality and the overall spectator experience. Highlights include cutting-edge Zumtobel lighting solutions (non-FOP) and the world-first Red Bull Gaming Room, setting a new benchmark for immersive, multi-use sporting environments.

🏟️ Expert insight, behind the scenes, we were incredibly fortunate to be guided through the venue by Felix, whose deep knowledge and passion brought the SAP Garden Arena story to life.
