A beautiful transformation 📍 North Adelaide
Old red brick paving, decorative brickwork and carefully considered details bring this outdoor space together, with pathways wrapping around three sides of the rear lawn.
We also gave the lawn some attention with a light topdress, irrigation adjustments and fertiliser to help keep it in good shape throughout the project.
One of our favourite details is the dark grey brickwork at the base of the central steps, featuring reclaimed bricks salvaged from the original lawn edging. A thoughtful design by Anna Piekarz Design Studio, adding contrast and character to the finished space.
As Anna shared in her feedback:
“The work was a massive team effort, and despite the weather not being ideal during the first few days, at no point did anyone complain. Everyone stayed positive and motivated, which gave us confidence that we definitely made the right choice in choosing Akers.
The final result was exactly as designed. A big bonus was that our lawn was not damaged and the existing irrigation was all modified and adapted for the new paving.”
A big thank you to Anna for the kind words and to our team for their hard work in bringing this project to life!
