We weren’t originally going to post this on our business page, but we spend so much of our lives with our team and customers, and ETS is such a huge part of who we are, that we felt we wanted to share this with you all.
Today we lost an incredible man — Brian. Josh’s dad, our kids’ Poppy, a much-loved brother, friend, and truly wonderful father-in-law.
Over the past 12 months, Josh and I have been supporting Brian through a tough battle, and the last 6 months especially have been incredibly challenging. Between work, kids, caring responsibilities, implementing a new computer system, and everything else life has thrown at us, it has been a lot to carry.
But through one of the hardest years of our lives, we have also been surrounded by some truly amazing people. We have been shown so much love, kindness, patience, and compassion. Our incredible team has stepped up and helped carry us through, and many customers have become genuine friends. For that, we are deeply grateful.
This experience has reminded us that while life can be unpredictable, messy, and heartbreaking, it can also be incredibly beautiful — and that people are capable of far more strength, care, and resilience than they realise.
Today has been tough, and we know there is still a difficult journey ahead as we navigate this loss. But we also know how lucky we are to have such an amazing community around us, and we are determined to keep moving forward and continue building toward the big goals we have for ETS.
Thank you to every single person who has checked in, supported us, and shown understanding over this past year. We appreciate you more than you know.
Josh and I will be taking next week off, but our amazing team will be there to ensure you continue receiving the same customer service and standards you’ve come to expect from ETS.
