Mayfield Project | Newcastle

An ongoing transformation of this Mayfield property, creating a considered outdoor space that brings together architecture, landscape and entertaining.

The project includes the construction of a new swimming pool, custom decking, screening, paving and glass pool fencing by Future Frameless Glass
The detailed landscape works with each element carefully considered to complement the existing home and create a seamless connection between the indoors and out.

The result is a private and functional backyard designed around everyday living — from relaxed afternoons by the pool through to entertaining with family and friends.

We built a solid structural frame and finished it with 70mm vertical battens, spaced 10mm apart to provide the airflow needed for the pool equipment while maintaining a clean, modern look. Built to protect the equipment without compromising on style.

Designed with functionality in mind, this enclosure features a full-height access door and two operable lift-up lids, making routine servicing quick and hassle-free. Every detail was built for durability, ventilation, and easy access.

Inspired by Japanese design, this landscape pairs natural textures with clean architectural lines. The Japanese gardens complement the warm timber façade, while the custom sliding barn door, finished in imitation Yakisugi (burnt cedar), ties in seamlessly with the charcoal cladding. A simple, timeless design where the home and landscape become one.

Wyee Project | Clothesline Installation

A simple but practical addition, featuring a Milkcan 7-Line Folding Wall-Mount Clothesline finished in charcoal to complement the home’s modern colour palette. Securely fixed to the brickwork and positioned for maximum sun exposure, this space-saving solution provides ample drying capacity while folding neatly away when not in use, keeping the side access area clean, functional and uncluttered.
