One cause of leaks under solar panels would be the build up of debris that gets stuck under them. Once the build up starts it will block the water flow down the roof causing the water to run into the debris and back up into your roof cavity under your tiles.

Dutch Gables.

90% of Dutch gables on roofs become blocked up with debris under the tiles running down the flashing which then causes leaks.

When these are originally installed most guys that installed the flashing/tiles have usually jumped on the tiles to make them sit properly which also creates another potential leak on the flashing as they have now squashed down the only lip there is to hold the water out.

So as an extra that we do and 90% of others wouldn’t, we lift up all tiles layed down on the Dutch gables, remove all the debris, lift the lip back up on the flashing and re-install the tiles.

We could go all day with what we do to go above and beyond on all our jobs. By doing this I can sleep well at night knowing we won’t have an issue in the future.

Did you know a roof restoration that hasn’t had the correct amount of roof membrane applied to your roof means your warranty is now VOID from the paint manufacturer “there is no warranty”.

“Licensed or not- if the job isn’t done properly you will have the same outcome”.

Many potential customers will go with the cheaper quote as they think they are saving themselves $$$ but in the long run if something was to happen with the paint, then there will be a too bad so sad card thrown your way meaning you will have to pay again to have it re-done and the paint itself won’t last with a quick coat anyway.

We will get on your roof to inspect and quote unlike the cowboys that don’t need to get on your roof to inspect. (Please inform me how they know of what is needed for your job if they don’t even get on the roof).

We will apply a good coat of the correct primer and 2x coats of your colour of choice roof membrane. The cowboys will apply a thin sealer or a thin coat of primer with watered down membrane to follow.

We will repoint all ridge capping every time, the cowboys will either patch it, do a job that looks like a dogs breakfast or won’t do it at all.

We will re-drill your weep holes (Australian Standard), the cowboys won’t put these back in.

We will replace all broken tiles, The cowboys will patch the broken tiles and paint over them to try and hide them or just paint over them full stop.

I could go all day this is why we don’t compete with prices.

On every job we take pictures of every step we take to prove what has been done and done correctly.

Soft wash at its finest with a couple of tradies that know what they are doing.

“We didn’t paint or do any repairs on this roof, it was simply just a soft wash clean”.

Removal of the old leaking terracotta tiled roof.
Replaced with a brand new ULTRA Colorbond roof.

Ultra Colorbond sheeting is required in, on and around the coastal environments. Your classic Colorbond finish’s will eventually rust/corrode if you’re living around salt air. Ultra Colorbond sheeting is coated with 3 layers including the metallic base, pre-treatment, primer and baked on top coat making the finish corrosion resistant.
