The Blackwood character lie board is all finished.

Beautiful colour and figuring from top to bottom, with low spots and voids filled with black resin, topped off with a laser engraving customised for the special couple as a wedding gift. What more could a happy couple want.

Turning out pretty nice if you ask me, Huon pine and Tasmanian musk pair well with black resin. These will both be up for grabs pretty soon. Follow for your chance to take them home.

Closer up look at the huge Myrtle slabs. As soon as they’re dry, these will make some great resin tables.

If you’re looking for a resin table in the future and think these would be perfect, feel free to reach out and I’ll keep the slabs seperate for you.

The Myrtle slabs have arrived! These are 2.6meters long and get up to 62cm wide! Can’t wait til these are dry enough to use. Off to Airdry for the meantime though

Resin moulds are done, ready for some stunning pieces shortly. Ran out of whiteboard so I had to utilise every little piece available, really hoping it holds and there’s isn’t another leak like the last time

It’s been a while… but here’s a look at the next three projects in the making, all about half way through the sanding, and then ready for some legs. Each of them are handmade using Tasmanian Myrtle.

Early stages of this Myrtle burl and black resin cheese board. Cant believe it looks this good already, can’t wait to see what it looks like all sanded and oiled up!
