Yards Apart landscaping is a landscaping business based in Thurgoona NSW. We'll sit-down with you to discuss your needs, vision and budget, and then allow us to turn those objectives into a reality, as we promise to deliver above and beyond your expectations, as this is what we have done for others. The services we offer include pool paving and designs, pool paving refurbishments, natural stone paving, landscape design, irrigation systems, excavations & artificial turf. Although we are based in Thurgoona, we service all surrounding areas including Lavington, Albury, Ettamogah, Wirlinga, Wodonga, West Wondonga, Bandiana, Bonegilla, Ebden, Baranduda, Table Top.

Some gardens need a drone shot to fit everything in.

At this Smith Street property in Albury, the curved rendered brick retaining wall wraps around a decomposed granite fire pit area. Olive Limestone from Artisan Exterior leads down to it, with buffalo turf and an irrigation system keeping the green side of things sorted.

It looks pretty damn good from the ground. But from up here?

Happy 17th Birthday to our first-year apprentice, Jack!

We figured we’d give him a break from the hard labour and shout him a Frankies lunch on site to celebrate.

This North Albury property had room for some big ideas.

And some even bigger rocks.

Drift grasses to then soften the large granite rocks, while recycled red brick seating walls with merbau tops give everyone somewhere to stop and enjoy the garden. We added lighting too, because it’d be a shame if this spot clocked off at sunset.

And yes, we had to bring in the big rocks.

The days say spring. The evenings haven’t quite got the memo.

At this Thurgoona garden, firewood is tucked beneath a floating merbau seat, with alpine granite cladding adding texture to the wall and a *Fraxinus pennsylvanica* tree (fancy name for an Ash tree) behind it all.

It’s a pretty good spot to sit when the temperature drops. Conveniently, the firewood’s right there.

The mature crepe myrtles were already doing their thing at this Central Albury home, so we had a pretty good starting point.

We added buffalo turf to bring a fresh green edge to the garden, along with bluestone steppers and a bubbling water bowl feature elsewhere on the property.

Sometimes the best part of a landscaping job is working with what’s already there.

Spring is here, summer’s around the corner, and this West Wodonga pool area is ready for both.

The grey porcelain paving sits beautifully against the dark brickwork, while the drop-face edge gives the pool a clean, sharp finish. Add those pool lights and it’s a strong case for staying outside a little longer.

Now we just need the weather to catch up.

Spring has officially sprung, and the Yards Apart team is flat out making gardens look their best.

Not a bad way to start the day before another big one.

The sun’s out, the weather is finally playing nice and things at Yards Apart are absolutely pumping. The crew are spread across jobs, the schedule is full, and we’re heading into the end of the week extremely busy — exactly how we like it.

A few more things to knock over today before we call it a week.
