About the Role
As our Leading Hand, you’ll be the driving force behind our installation operations — ensuring our teams are supported, our projects run smoothly and our customers receive the quality we’re known for.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organise and procure all jobs to ensure smooth, efficient delivery
Lead and manage installation teams to meet timelines, budgets, safety and quality standards
Provide clear communication, technical guidance and practical support to crews
Work closely with the GM on strategic initiatives and operational improvements
Support business development, customer service and job resourcing
Oversee daily operations: setting targets, problem‑solving, quality checks, scheduling and working alongside teams when required (50–75%)
Conduct end‑of‑day reviews to ensure targets and standards are consistently met
What You Bring

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role (fencing, construction or civil)
Medium Rigid Truck Licence
Full Australian Drivers License
Construction White Card
Working with Vulnerable People Card (Employment) or ability to obtain.
Experience operating excavators and skid steers
Proven ability to lead multiple teams with confidence and clarity
Strong communication skills and a professional approach with staff and clients
A leadership style that sets the standard for work ethic, safety and quality
Ability to hold staff accountable while maintaining positive morale
Highly organised, proactive and detail‑focused
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
A team‑oriented mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a lively, supportive workplace
