We’ve been keeping something pretty big under wraps… 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮! 🙌

After more than six years of building homes and possibilities here in Tasmania, Sam is crossing the Bass Strait to establish a second operation in Geelong. From November 2026, he’ll be bringing the same service, quality and approach we’ve become known for to the Victorian community.

And for our Tassie community – Jason and our team will remain right here on the ground, continuing to design, build, and deliver homes across Tasmania as we always have.

We’re so proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited about where we’re heading next.

We’re back in Coles Bay, one of Tasmania’s most iconic coastal destinations 😍

We prepped the site, installed the two Bigger Tiny Homes, and now plumbing and electrical connections are in place, a spotted gum deck is fixed to each home, and landscaping is underway!

We’ll soon have a finished update for you, right in time for the Tassie spring and summer 🙌

Why build a home off-site? 🏡

It’s about more than simply building somewhere else.

By completing much of the construction in our yard, we can advance the home through multiple stages before it reaches your property.

That can mean less material storage, fewer trades moving around your block, and less construction activity impacting your site.

It also means that when the home arrives, the builders, electricians and plumbers have a clearer path to focus on positioning the home and connecting it to the services it needs.

Your site still matters. Foundations, access and services all need to be considered but modular construction changes where and when much of the building work happens.

This BIG70 is almost ready to make its way to its new home in southern Tasmania 🙌

Our plans are the starting point. How they look, feel, and function is up to you.

This one started with our two-bedroom floorplan; however, the owners adapted it to be one bedroom with a dedicated study for a great work-from-home set-up, plus a generous lounge opening onto a big deck.

They’ve made the finishes their own too – green walls, dark timber-look flooring, black mirror-finish doors in the master, and tiled walls and floors throughout the bathroom and laundry.

We’ve heard a few misconceptions about our container homes over the years – like they’re just shipping containers with windows cut out, or they’re not suitable to live in full-time 😅

Neither is correct. Our container homes are properly engineered, insulated, and built to Class 1A residential standards, and are connected to power, water, and sewer or septic, just like a conventional home.
