Launceston Swim School Launceston's leading learn to swim school. All staff also hold current Resuscitation Awards (or higher).

This very family friendly pool has been specifically designed for learn to swim / swimming lessons while also lending itself well to other activities such as aqua fitness and casual swimming.

•The pool is a 17m X 10m indoor heated pool.
•Open all year round. Heated to 32°C.
•Depth ranges from 0.8m to 0.9m to 1.2m.
•The air temperature is heated in winter and change rooms have floor heating.
•San

itation is by chlorine and ozone generator.
•Great for swimming lessons for all ages babies/preschoolers/school age/adults

Many teachers hold other qualifications including Austswim Infant Teacher Award, Austswim Teacher of People with Disabilities, Austswim Teacher of Competitive Strokes, Coaching Certificate, First Aid, Pool Lifeguard, Bronze Medallion.

There are some great AUSTSWIM training opportunities coming up in Devonport for anyone looking to expand their skills and qualifications in the aquatics industry.

If you’re currently teaching swimming, looking to further your qualifications, or interested in developing your skills in different areas of swim teaching, these courses are well worth checking out.

🏊 OCTOBER SCHOOL HOLIDAY SWIM PROGRAM 🏊

Expressions of Interest are now open for our October School Holiday Swim Program!

Running over 5 consecutive days, the program is a great opportunity for children to build confidence, improve their swimming skills and make some great progress in a short period of time.

📅 Monday 12 – Friday 16 October
⏰ Lessons between 9:30 am – 1:00 pm
🏊 30-minute lesson each day
👧🧒 Ages 4–12 years
⭐ Beginner through to experienced swimmers
👥 Small groups of approximately 4–5 swimmers
💰 $120 per child
🔒 $50 deposit required once your place is confirmed

We’ll group children based on their swimming ability and then contact families with the class time we can offer.

Spaces are limited!

Our Movement to Music sessions are designed for babies aged 4–15 months and are a great first step into the pool environment. 👶🏊

These casual sessions combine music, movement and water play, helping you and your baby learn how to interact, build confidence and enjoy being in the water together.

💰 $14 per session
