A new chapter for 6ty°
As of 1 July 2026 we’re proud to announce that George Walker has stepped into the role of CEO at 6ty°.
From humble beginnings to the multidisciplinary business we are today, 6ty° has always been shaped by great people and strong values – trust, honesty, integrity, quality, and a genuine commitment to our clients, our team and the Tasmanian communities we work within.
George’s appointment is a natural continuation of that journey. We acknowledge Chester, who established the foundations of 6ty°, and Joel Wallace, whose leadership as CEO for much of the past 15 years has helped guide the business through significant growth and change.
For George, taking on the role is both a privilege and an opportunity to lead 6ty° into its next chapter alongside our Directors and team, respecting where we’ve come from while continuing to evolve as a strong, progressive and proudly Tasmanian business.
We’re proud of what’s been built, grateful to everyone who has played a part, and genuinely excited about what comes next.
