I’ve been dreaming up some special educational experiences for children and families, and I’d love to know who would be interested! 💜

🐰💕 BUNNY LEARNING & CUDDLE EXPERIENCES

More than just a photo opportunity! Children will have time to meet our beautiful bunnies, learn about their personalities, understand rabbit body language and discover how to care for them responsibly.

🌸 Little Bunny Experience — $20 per child
⏰ 30–40 minutes
🐰 Meet the bunnies and learn their names
🌿 Learn about rabbit care and behaviour
💕 Enjoy gentle, supervised interaction at the rabbits’ pace
📸 Take photos on your own phone

🌷 Bunny Discovery Session — $30 per child
⏰ 1 hour
🐰 Everything included in the Little Bunny Experience
🥕 Learn about rabbit diets, breeds and grooming
💗 Discover how rabbits communicate
📚 Enjoy a bunny-themed activity or learning sheet

🐹 GUINEA PIG EXPERIENCES

Meet our lovely guinea pigs and learn about their needs, behaviour, diet and daily care!

🐔🐣 BACKYARD CHICKEN WORKSHOPS

Ever wanted to learn how to keep your own backyard chickens? These educational workshops would be designed for adults and children to learn together!

🥚 Learn about eggs and egg colours
🐔 Choosing breeds and setting up a coop
🌾 Feeding, health and everyday chicken care
🐣 Raising chicks and incubator basics
🐥 Watch chicks hatch on hatch day, when a hatch is scheduled and available!

Proposed workshop prices:
👩 Adult — $50
🧒 Child — $25
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family pass (2 adults + 2 children) — $130

⏰ Approximately 2 hours, with very small groups and bookings essential.

🌱🎨 LITTLE GARDENERS — $15 PER CHILD

A fun, hands-on gardening activity where children can:

🎨 Paint and decorate their own plant pot
🌱 Plant a seedling
🏷️ Decorate a plant label
💚 Take their little creation home!

🎓 LEARNING WITH A PURPOSE

I hold a Certificate III in Education Support, have experience as a Teacher Assistant, and am also a Children’s University Coordinator.

My goal is to create fun, hands-on educational experiences that encourage children’s curiosity, confidence and love of learning.

Eligible participating children may also be able to earn hours in their Children’s University Passport, subject to programme requirements and approval.

These activities are currently in the planning stages. Any home-based sessions will be subject to the necessary permissions and requirements being confirmed before bookings open.

🐰🌿 Come Meet Our Bunnies at the Longford Show! 🌿🐰

We’re so excited to be bringing Rundell’s Rainbow Farm and Garden along to the Longford Show on Saturday 17th October! 💜

Behind our little venture is just me and my kids — a single mum and her children who share a huge love for animals, gardening and country life. ❤️ There’s no big farm behind us (yet! 😉) — just our family, our animals, lots of hard work and a dream we’re slowly building towards.

🐰 Our bunnies are a huge part of our family.

We’ll be bringing some of our beautiful rabbits along for everyone to meet, including:

🤎 Mini Lops
🐰 Giant Flemish
🤍 Rex

Every bunny has their own personality, and the kids love being involved in caring for them, learning about the different breeds and watching them grow. We’re passionate about responsible care, learning as much as we can and giving our animals the best life possible. 🥰

But the bunnies aren’t all we love! 🐔🥚🌱

At home, we’re also kept busy with our chooks, rainbow eggs, chicks, gardening, seedlings and all the little projects that come with our country-life dream. 🌸🐥🥚

The kids are involved in so much of it — collecting eggs, helping care for the animals, working in the garden and learning valuable life skills along the way. 💕

They have just hatched and are currently being raised with lots of care and attention while they grow stronger.
