What A Transformation!

Same old story, kids have grown up, doesn’t get used anymore, is constant maintenance. Time for a space transformation for everyone to enjoy.

Our clients wanted to bring that camping feeling of sitting around a fire by a stream, right at their back door.

Our feed back, “it feels like a new home and backyard”.

It was an absolute pleasure bringing their project to life.

It’s been awhile between posts…..time has flown with lots going on.
Travelled overseas
Moved house
Flew out a couple of weeks later to start renovating our new BnB project on King Island TAS
Whilst still working and building ponds inbetween.
It’s was an eventful 2025.

**CATCH UP - 2 Ponds and Stream

Here is quick slide of a build in Rye we completed back in June.
The backyard was steeply sloped, which came with its challenges, but its uniqueness and the presence of the native Moonah trees make it a wonderful space. By working around the trees, we created a design that feels natural, balanced, and is truely usable to enjoy.
Matt and Kate were an absolute delight to work with, thanks guys.

All within a small space!

We’ve just finished this Pondless Waterfall with Stream, transforming a small corner of our client's backyard into a peaceful retreat. The feature now offers a stunning view from both their home and alfresco area, perfect for family enjoyment. A shallow pooling area and sitting rock were added, inviting them to dip their feet, unwind, and soak in the tranquility. It was wonderful to see the kids excitement as the water began to flow. We’re looking forward to returning to complete the surrounding landscape soon.

This Pondless Water Feature with Decorative Urn was created within a space where the clients were wanting something a bit special. You can feel the peace and relaxation it brings followed by a delightful visual at sunset.

Spring is a fantastic time for ponds to come alive!

With warmer temperatures and longer daylight, plants and flowers in and around the pond start to bloom. You might see water lilies unfurling their petals and reaching for the sky, dragonflies coming to visit and fish swimming more energetically. It’s a great time to tidy up the pond, remove any winter debris, and perhaps add some new plants to enhance the visual appeal with so many beautiful colours nature has to offer.
