Appreciation Post

For the last 9 months, I've been looking after a client's property whilst he's overseas.

Today I received a package at my home address and to my surprise, a hat and post card from Honolulu.

I certainly am lucky to have a client who made my day!

Here we grow again.... Today I said farewell to my trusty Hilux that's been a big part of my life for the last 6 years and upgraded the work car to a brand new F150.
So stoked with the new workhorse!

8 years ago I was toying with the idea of starting up my lawn care business and decided I'd sit down and have a chat with my Nan, the founder of Benara Nurseries, and seek advice from someone who has experience in business.
The advice she gave me was short and sweet..... You're making a commitment to your customers to look after their lawn, so you're going to have to do a good job and always make sure you reinvest your money back into the business to have good quality equipment to get the job done.

This advice was really important and made a lasting impression on the way I conduct myself in business from day one!

Unfortunately last night, my Nan passed away at the ripe age of 102 and I'm so glad that she has been a part of my life. No more words of wisdom but there will always be many amazing memories of the incredible woman who was my Nan!

RIP Nan. You deserve the rest and one day we'll meet again 😇

Well that's a wrap for 2024. What a year it's been! 2024 has been a very successful year for my business, continually growing and going from strength to strength.

I'm taking a few weeks off work now to enjoy a holiday with my family. I'll be back late January, refreshed and raring to go.

Best wishes to everyone for 2025 and I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year.

I'm fully booked for the rest of this year and won't be taking any more requests until February as I'm taking time off in January 2025.

Progress pictures from a Vertimow in Alexander Heights. 2 weeks ago today this lawn was taken down to dirt and cored. The client decided he'd Top Dress the area after I left and boy the soil from Swan Valley Landscape Supplies has again been working its magic!
