Choosing a contractor to restore your roof can be a minefield. Everyone that you get to quote is an "Expert". Ask them what products they use, how they ensure its done to the manufacturers specifications, what are the guarantees and if there are any "aftercare instructions". We use Shieldcoat products, why? Because, we believe they are the best. A 6 year colour and gloss guarantee says it all. Other products give you zero. Secondly ask who is actually doing the work and their qualifications. We recently were asked if we could do an old school Two-Tone Roof. "Of coarse we can". Other companies said no one does it or can do it. With over 35 years in the industry, we can do what others can't. If your contractor can't do the simple things, maybe they haven't got the experience they claim.
