Where you install your drainage matters just as much as having it in the first place.

Installing the drainage at the bottom of the footing helps move water away before it has the chance to sit against the home. Combined with the waterproofing behind the wall, it's all designed to keep water where it belongs.

Not every project goes exactly to plan, and that's okay.

During our San Remo project, we discovered the original retaining wall design would impact the neighbouring property's drainage. Rather than pushing ahead, we worked with the engineer to find a better solution. The revised design protected the neighbouring property and even reduced construction costs.

That's how we approach every project at BGH Construction: identify the issue, find the right solution and build it properly.
