Based in Kyneton, we specialise in premium residential and commercial painting, heritage restoration and decorative finishes throughout the Macedon Ranges and surrounds.

Last month we attended the Dulux Accredited National Conference alongside some of Australia’s leading painting businesses.

It’s always valuable to step away from the day to day and connect with others who are committed to raising the standard of our industry.

It was great catching up with painter friends and trade partners from across the country. Sharing ideas, talking all things paint and strengthening relationships is always one of the highlights of the conference.

Being Dulux Accredited isn’t just a badge. It’s about continually investing in our business so we can deliver an even better experience for our clients and continue to deliver the highest standard of workmanship.

From apprentice to qualified painter.

This week marks a very special milestone, not only has Keegan officially completed his painting apprenticeship and become a qualified painter, but he’s also the very first apprentice to complete their apprenticeship with JD Painting Co.

His willingness to learn, dedication to improving his craft and commitment to quality have been something we’re incredibly proud to be part of.

Earlier this year, Keegan was also recognised as Runner-Up Apprentice of the Year at the Master Painters Awards, a reflection of the hard work he’s put into his trade.

To celebrate, we presented him with an engraved Leatherman, a Certificate of Achievement, and spent the day together making a few memories with the team.

Congratulations, Keegan. Thank you for everything you’ve contributed to the team. We can’t wait to see what the next chapter of your career brings.

Three projects entered. Three awards received.

We were honoured to be recognised at the Master Painters Awards for Excellence, receiving:

• Award for Excellence – Decorative Finishes (Domestic Under $30,000)
• Award for Excellence – Heritage Restoration (Domestic Under $100,000)
• High Distinction – Heritage Restoration (Domestic Under $100,000)

Adding to the celebrations, our apprentice Keegan was named Runner-up Apprentice of the Year (4th Year).

Seeing Keegan recognised alongside the success of our project entries was one of the highlights of the evening and a reflection of the dedication, craftsmanship and professionalism he brings to the trade.
