Great piece of advice. Check your electricity Bill!! Next step is to get your trusted electrician to do a quick review of your setup. I’m amazed at how many households have had a decent solar system and/or battery installed, yet are still paying high power bills. Often some relatively easy changes within your power board, and well explained changes to usage habits, can result in significant savings on your power bills.

Great article written by Finn Peacock highlighting potential problems with adding Solar, Batteries, and EVSE to domestic switchboards not designed to take the load. There's a lot of people out there chuffed at how cheap they managed to get their recent electrical work done, but have no idea of the underlying problems that have been created...

As home electrification ramps up, wires in some switchboards now carry combined current long enough to exceed their rating - and melt.

Installed an EV charger today that this customer received with their recent purchase of a Geely EX5. Very basic functions but a neat little unit.
