Take Action: Sign our petition demanding Amazon ban child s*x abuse dolls

It’s been almost a whole year since we first exposed Amazon selling child s*x abuse dolls – replica little girls with penetrable orifices for men’s on demand s*xual use.

We’ve found headless child s*x abuse dolls, replica child body parts like disembodied heads, legs, and torsos, and s*x abuse dolls modelled on toddlers.

Amazon claims to have “strict policies” against “s*x dolls with childlike appearances”, yet the corporation continues to advertise and sell them. We’ve found over 100 just this year alone.

So we’re refreshing our campaign. We’re launching a change dot org petition spearheaded by Campaigns Manager Caitlin Roper – a leading authority on s*x dolls, robots and child s*x abuse dolls.

Flashback Friday! Remember when we got the Bottle-O to remove topless life-size image of a woman after a local resident spoke out?

In 2015, Collective Shout supporter Joyce had been concerned about the s*xualised imagery on display at her local liquor store with attempts to discuss her concerns with the store manager falling on deaf ears. Inspired by the campaigns from Collective Shout she decided to take action.

Joyce took a photograph of the ad and took to social media where we joined forces in calling out The Bottle-O for thinking this exploitative display of a near-naked woman was perfect to promote alcohol.

The Bottle-O tweeted in response the same day saying:

"The Bottle-O does not condone the exploitation of women and immediate action has been taken for materials of this nature to be removed from our network of stores. Thank you for bringing this to our attention."

The Bottle-O also confirmed via email that further steps had been taken to counsel staff so this type of situation would not occur in the future. We appreciate The Bottle-O for acting quickly to rectify the issue.

Positive outcomes like this can occur when concerned individuals take up their rightful voice in the public square. 'The standard you walk past is the standard you set.' Thank you for helping us set a higher standard!

Nine years of dreadlocks, and she's cutting them off to support Collective Shout! ✂️

Meet Mel Kemp, a Collective Shout supporter who's found a pretty unique way to raise funds for our work.

To celebrate her 48th birthday, Mel has launched a 48-day fundraising challenge, culminating in the big chop on 10 November.

She's saying goodbye to the dreadlocks she's spent NINE years growing, all to raise awareness about the objectification of women and girls and support our campaigns against s*xual exploitation.

Mel's goal is to raise $4,800, and she's already raised $1,125!

She's inviting you to donate whatever you can and encouraging businesses to chip in $48 towards her goal.

We love seeing supporters find creative ways to get behind our work, and we're so grateful to Mel for taking on this challenge.

Can you help Mel reach her fundraising goal before the big chop?

Donate here: https://www.collectiveshout.org/48th-bday-mel

You can also follow her fundraising journey on Instagram at .

A huge thank you to Mel for backing our work and helping us keep up the pressure on industries profiting from the objectification and s*xual exploitation of women and girls. 💜

Content warning: Headless replica girl s*x dolls for sale on Amazon

Amazon has “strict policies” against child s*x abuse dolls, they claim.

We found this 100 cm doll – the size of a 3-4-year-old girl – in March. Eight months later, it is still being advertised on the platform.

The product description plugs access to three penetrable orifices (v*ginal, oral and an*l), easily adjustable legs and a sturdy built-in skeleton that can “withstand [a] pounding”.

We first exposed Amazon selling child s*xual abuse material last November. They continue to repeat the claim that they have “strict policies” against CSAM, but policies without enforcement are meaningless.

The Pipeline to Prostitution: Caitlin Roper to speak at WEEP event in S.A.

Campaigns Manager Caitlin Roper will deliver a keynote address at the Women Ending Exploitation by Prostitution (WEEP) annual dinner in Adelaide in November.

Also speaking is UN Special Rapporteur Reem Alsalem via recorded video and WEEP’s Amy Wilson.

Caitlin will be speaking on the popular portrayal of OnlyFans as a glamorous and lucrative career option for young women, and how news outlets and social media groom young women for participation.

Caitlin will be drawing on our original research, 2022 report Side Hustles and S*xual Exploitation, co-authored by the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women Australia (CATWA), which found Australian media promoted the s*x trade as an attractive option for vulnerable women during the COVID-19 pandemic, and our forthcoming research on the TikTok to OnlyFans pipeline. This report, in collaboration with CATWA and CEASE UK, is due for release soon!

Tickets are on sale now – link in comments.

We hope to see some of our Adelaide supporters there!
