Our whole business is about comfort. This week, our Perth franchisee has given his up entirely. 🏁

Graham left Adelaide on Saturday in a $1,500 hand-painted Honda CR-V, bound for Darwin. Seven days. 3,700 kilometres. No 4WDs allowed, maybe no air conditioning worth mentioning either, and a fair chance of a roadside repair or two before Friday 🤪.

He's not doing it alone. Beside him is his daughter Marie, who worked with us years ago and is on her third — so we're fairly confident the navigating is in good hands.

They're driving for Cancer Council, and will reach Darwin on Friday. Safe travels, you two 💙

During the recent World Cup, we made a friendly wager with our American counterpart at Magnetite USA, Buddy Roussel, on the USA vs Australia match. The deal was : the loser would send the winner a care package of local goodies.

USA won. Fair play — we sent Buddy and the team a box of proper Aussie treats (Tim Tams, Twisties, Shapes, a jar of Vegemite and a stern warning about how much to spread on toast).

What we didn't expect was for the "losing" side to get spoiled right back. Look at what showed up on our doorstep! Buddy sent us a full taste of Louisiana.

He even included a guide titled "A Little Taste of Louisiana," explaining every item. Massive thanks to Magnetite Windows USA 🤝

Our Australia Director, Adrian, touched down in Singapore to spend time with our incredible franchisee, Carisa Mann — and the visit couldn't have wrapped up on a better note.

We joined the Association of Women in Construction (Singapore) event, co-hosted by Lighthouse Club Singapore (proudly sponsored by .singapore ), where Carisa took the stage as a guest speaker. She shared her experience, hard-won insights and advice for entrepreneurial women navigating the construction industry — the kind of perspective that only comes from building something yourself.

Watching Carisa command the room and inspire the next generation of women in construction was a proud moment for the whole Magnetite team. We're lucky to have her leading our Singapore franchise. 👏
