The ultimate hack for dust free drilling 💡

When drilling through stone benchtops, we use a plastic container to create a controlled body of water around the drilling area. The diamond hole saw remains submerged, capturing the silica dust in the water and making cleanup quick and easy.

Drilling engineered or manufactured stone can generate extremely hazardous silica dust. Wet drilling is an important control that prevents dust from becoming airborne, alongside the correct equipment, PPE and safe work procedures.

A simple setup that makes a big difference to safety and cleanliness.

A neat upgrade for this internal Rinnai hot water system.
The existing unit was installed inside a custom fabricated box, which needed to be carefully cut open and the brick cavity area enlarged to suit the dimensions of the modern replacement system.

The new Rinnai was installed securely and the client was extremely happy quick turn around and final result.

This is what came out of a 12 year old electric storage water heater during replacement 😳

The brown rusty water is a sign of internal corrosion and sediment buildup inside the tank.

Hot water systems often deteriorate gradually, so early warning signs like discoloured water, unusual noises, leaks or inconsistent temperatures should not be ignored.

A timely replacement can help prevent a sudden burst tank and water damage to your home.
