Malua Bay Project Approved ✔️

A three-level split home designed around a steep sloping site and tight building envelope. Each level carefully nestled into the site to create a natural, flowing connection throughout the home.

Ocean views to the east with bush and privacy to the south with highlight northern windows to allow natural light to flood in throughout the day.

A challenging block, but a home I absolutely loved designing. Quite envious of this one actually… wouldn’t mind settling into it myself 🤭

How long will it take to get approved? It’s the question everyone wants to know. So I thought I’d put some data together from my last 20 projects to give an idea of expected timeframes.

Of course, every project is different. Approval times can vary depending on the complexity of the proposal, council workload, referrals to other authorities, and whether additional information is requested during the assessment process.

While no one can guarantee how long a DA will take, submitting a thorough, well-prepared application from the start can help avoid unnecessary delays.

I’m happy to say, I’ve never had a DA rejected to date. And the plan is to keep it that way :)

To be honest, pulling up to Daniel and .smith’s new place was a bit of a breathtaking moment. That extended cantilevered gable was hard to take my eyes off. This has been in the making for a long time now, I had almost forgotten the floor plan!

So stoked for their little growing family. What a place to grow up in! Well done you guys, it’s stunning 🫶🏻.

DA approved in Cobargo! 👏🏻 And in less than a month!!

It’s been an absolute pleasure working on this new farm house project just down the road from where I grew up. My lovely clients had a clear vision for the style they wanted, but needed help refining the floor plan and bringing everything together while staying within budget.

The 2019/2020 fires destroyed so many homes along my parents’ road, so it’s incredibly rewarding to be involved in seeing new homes built and the area being slowly regenerated.

Excited to see this home one day sitting beautifully on the rolling hills of Cobargo as I drive past on my way out to Mum and Dad’s 🥰

The answer is yes… and no.

Yes — I design the space.
I develop the layout, flow and overall concept to make sure the kitchen is functional and sits seamlessly within your home.

No — I don’t do the detailed cabinetry drawings or joinery documentation. That’s where your cabinetmaker or joiner comes in.

My role is to make sure it feels right — that every element is positioned intentionally, and that the space flows in the most functional way possible. ☕️
