👏 New Project – Prospect Retail Hub!

We're proud to be the contractor of choice to deliver the all new Prospect Retail Hub, rebuilding 4 x retail and commercial tenancies on Prospect Road following the fire that destroyed the previous premises in 2025.

This project is about more than construction. It's about helping restore a key local destination, creating modern retail spaces and contributing to the ongoing growth of the Prospect precinct.

With construction already underway, we're excited to bring this development to life and look forward to sharing our progress over the coming months.

🚀 From the City to the Bay for a Cause That Really Matters 💙

Perfect weather, an incredible team effort, and a fantastic fundraising result... that's a City to Bay worth celebrating!

This year's City-Bay Fun Run saw the teams from Chappell Builders and Badge Constructions join forces, lace up their running shoes, and hit the streets to raise funds for the WCH Foundation. Together, we helped raise valuable funds to support the incredible Mock MRI Rocket Ship Project, designed to help children feel calm, prepared, and less fearful before undergoing an MRI scan.

Another huge thank you to Jessica George, Community Engagement Manager at the Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation, who helped facilitate our fundraiser and brought so much enthusiasm and support throughout the campaign. 💖

One of the highlights of the day was meeting Australian running legend Jessica Stenson (Trengove), at our post-race gathering. As an Olympian, Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist, and one of Australia's most accomplished distance runners, she has achieved so much on the world stage, yet was incredibly generous with her time and inspiration. Even more special was meeting Jessica's beautiful new baby while her husband tackled the City-Bay course himself! 🏃‍♂️👶

Finally, thank you to everyone who donated, ran, walked, volunteered, organised, encouraged, and cheered us on throughout the journey. The generosity, team spirit, and willingness to get behind such an important cause was truly inspiring to see.👟🚀🙌

We've loved bringing this one to life!

Chappell Builders is proud to celebrate the completion of the new Little Library Children's Experience, an extraordinary space designed to spark curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning for young children.

Far more than a traditional library, Little Library combines interactive play-based learning, storytelling spaces, digital exploration, quiet reading nooks, family-friendly gathering areas and immersive discovery zones to create a truly magical experience for young visitors.

A fantastic outcome for the State Library of South Australia and a project we're incredibly proud to have delivered.

A simple question can make a big difference. 💙💛

Last week, Chappell Builders proudly took part in Fly the Flag, supporting the important work of MATES in Construction SA and helping keep the conversation around mental health front and centre across our sites.

We were fortunate to host Matt from MATES in Construction SA at two of our projects, Resthaven Leabrook and Sacred Heart College, where he shared an important message with our teams: take the time to check in with your mate. A simple conversation can have a lasting impact, and knowing someone cares enough to ask, can make all the difference.

To bring everyone together, Chappell supplied food and drinks, creating an opportunity for our teams to connect, have meaningful conversations and reflect on the importance of looking out for one another.

We also hosted a morning tea in support of R U OK? Day. While the day shines a spotlight on mental health and encourages us to start conversations that matter, its message extends far beyond a single day on the calendar. Asking "Are you OK?" is something we should all be doing any day of the year, whether it's with a workmate, a friend, a family member or someone who just doesn't seem quite themselves.

The construction industry is built on teamwork, and that means looking after more than just the job at hand. By checking in, listening without judgement and supporting one another, we can help create healthier, safer workplaces and communities.

A special thank you to our QSE Manager, Jordan Collins, for organising the Fly the Flag site visits & yummy treats, and to our project teams at Resthaven Leabrook and Sacred Heart College for putting on the food and helping make the events such a great success.

And thank you to Matt and the MATES in Construction SA team for the valuable work they continue to do in our industry.

It’s been a pleasure working with the Klose’s team to bring this project to life. We’re proud of the progress made so far and look forward to seeing the finishing touches come together. Not long now until the community can enjoy this fantastic new store!

** KLOSE'S FOODLAND WILLIAMSTOWN UPDATE **
It’s been some time since our last update, and we’re pleased to share that significant progress has been made on site.

Following a period of heavy rain, we are now enjoying favourable weather conditions, allowing us to move ahead with the external works. Over the coming weeks, construction of the car park and landscaping of the gardens will be underway, bringing us another step closer to completion.

The building itself is looking fantastic, and we are incredibly proud of the quality work that Chappell Builders have delivered in helping create our community supermarket. It has been exciting to see the vision take shape, and we know many members of the community share that excitement.

In the weeks ahead, we will be focusing on the internal fit-out and final preparations for opening. We expect to be in a position to announce an official opening date soon and will keep everyone informed as plans are finalised.

The enthusiasm and support from the community has been overwhelming, and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors of our newest supermarket.
