Walking Trails Support Group

Walking Trails Support Group The WTSG has developed and maintains about 150kms of walking trails in South Australia. Visit http://wtsg.au for details.

The Walking Trails Support Group is a non-profit organisation that aims to provide sustainable low-risk walks to interesting areas of South Australia and to provide information about the landscape through which the walks traverse. About 150 km of trails in the Flinders Ranges (17 walks) and the Barossa Valley (10 walks) have been developed by volunteers. All trails are maintained on annual trips t

o the 3 areas from which all the work is done; Dutchman’s Stern, Oraparinna and Nudlamutana. The Barossa Valley walks are maintained through day trips from Adelaide. The website has downloadable maps, leaflets about the walks, descriptions of the flora and fauna, and photographs. The Flinders Ranges section includes descriptions of the geology of each area. There is also information about safety, the location of each walk, the year’s program and volunteer activity reports.
