Proper plant selection is important.
This is a densely planted Photinia "Red Robin" hedge on a boundary line.
It was planted to block out the site, smell and sound of chicken sheds next door.
Proper preparation in the form of appropriate drainage, trenched planting to allow good root growth and consistent appropriate maintenance results in a great outcome.
This is three years apart.
Day one when planting was finished and three years later.
This is a great outcome and results in happy customers.

Not every machine spends its days clearing fence lines, tackling difficult access and helping recover overgrown properties.

Nice to see the old Bawoo getting a bit of the limelight.

When you absolutely, positively need the chipper through that gate and down the back... πŸ˜‚

The RC mower and chipper shuttle service was in full operation.

Sometimes the hardest part of a job isn't cutting the vegetation β€” it's getting the equipment where it needs to be.

Fortunately, difficult access is part of the fun.

Steep sites often hide a few surprises.

This Hazelbrook project involved reducing vegetation pressure and improving access through a difficult bushland interface area. While working through regrowth and hidden obstacles, the mower occasionally found old stumps concealed beneath the vegetation β€” including a few sucker-growth stems attached to original stumps that were larger than they first appeared.

You can hear one of those encounters in the video, but the machine handled it without issue and work continued.

The objective wasn't to clear everything, but to selectively reduce vegetation, improve manageability and support ongoing bushfire mitigation on the downhill side of the property.

A good example of how the right equipment can help safely manage steep and difficult-access areas that would be challenging with conventional machinery.

Not every vegetation management project needs a scorched-earth approach.

At this Hazelbrook property, the goal was to reduce vegetation pressure, improve access and make the area easier to manage, while retaining desirable plants and maintaining the character of the site.

Some areas had previously been treated for Ginger Lily, which was cut and removed during follow-up works. Selective slashing was then used to reduce regrowth and open up the area without unnecessary disturbance.

This area also forms part of a broader bushfire mitigation strategy, helping reduce fuel loads on the downhill side of the property while maintaining a more manageable transition between the garden and surrounding bushland.

A good example of how staged vegetation management can improve property usability, support bushfire preparedness and gradually transform overgrown areas over time.

Not every property challenge is solved with the same machine.

Whether it's steep slopes, difficult access, overgrown vegetation, moving heavy materials or improving property functionality, having the right equipment allows us to work safely and efficiently across a wide range of conditions.

This reel showcases some recent projects, including remote-controlled mowing, vegetation management and carefully relocating an old timber shed using our compact tracked equipment.

Another staged property improvement project completed βœ”οΈ

What started as a difficult, muddy area is now a practical and functional space for everyday use.

This project involved post and rail fencing, drainage improvements, hardstand construction and improved access around the horse stables.

It's a good example of how thoughtful planning and staged improvements can completely change the way a property functions.

As summer finishes, plants move from active growth to winter dormancy.
It's such a beautiful time of year, cooler days, colder nights and shorter days.
Gardens don't always have to be about pretty flowers, when planning a garden consider all seasons and look at planting something to reflect all seasons like these amazing trees for stunning autumn colour.
It can be a statement tree amongst your landscape or a grove of plants for autumn colour.
Autumn leaves can also provide a benefit. Left in place they break down and feed your soil, or you can collect and compost them to create leaf mould which can then be added to your garden down the track.
Do you want some help with your garden design, not sure what plants might work for you or too many choices to make? Give us a call and we can help you out.
