🚜 Our new sand insertion/slitting unit has officially hit the ground running, already out improving turf surfaces across Western Australia.

Sand slitting is one of the most effective solutions for combating waterlogging and poor drainage across all turf surfaces, including sporting fields, golf courses, schools, public open spaces, and high-traffic turf areas. Over time, surfaces become compacted from machinery, foot traffic, and play, preventing water from moving freely through the soil profile. This often leads to standing water, soft ground conditions, reduced turf health, and surfaces becoming unusable during wetter periods.

The sand slitting process works by cutting deep channels into the ground and backfilling them with sand, creating pathways that allow excess water to move away from the surface and deeper into the soil profile. This improves drainage, increases oxygen movement into the rootzone, and promotes stronger, healthier turf growth. 🌱

The result is a firmer, more consistent surface with improved recovery, reduced waterlogging, and better year-round performance, particularly through winter and high-use periods.
