Nominations are open for the 2026 City of Karratha Community Sports Awards.

At every local club, there’s someone who gets there early, stays late and helps keep the whole thing moving. If that’s someone at your club, nominate them for PLI Volunteer of the Year.

We’re proud to back the award again this year. Community sport doesn’t run without volunteers.

Flashback to a Tuesday morning, and the kind of call we like getting from Ausco.

Five modular buildings needed to be leapfrogged into position at Hartfield Park, using a 300 tonne mobile crane in the car park and a 160 tonne crane beside the oval.

With the right plan, the right gear and an experienced complexing crew, everything landed exactly where it needed to.

That’s modular installation by PLI.

Thanks to Ausco Modular for bringing us in to help deliver the City of Kalamunda ’s new change room complex.

Another modular project landed.

At Hartfield Park in Forrestfield, PLI worked alongside Ausco Modular on the site preparation and installation of five modular buildings for the City of Kalamunda 's new change room complex.

The job brought together a 300 tonne mobile crane, a 160 tonne crane and a four-person PLI complexing crew to land and position the buildings on site.

From site preparation and cranage through to modular installation, PLI can step in where the project needs us.

Thanks to the Ausco team for working with us to get it done.

Last year’s Perkins Plunge was a reminder of what happens when people get behind a cause that matters.

The energy, the laps, the teams, the fundraising and the purpose behind it all made it a pretty special event to be part of.

The Perkins Plunge powered by Mineral Resources is back on 21 to 22 November 2026, raising funds for medical research through the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

If you’ve been thinking about getting involved this year, now is the time to register, donate or back someone taking the plunge.

Every lap helps support research into diseases affecting families across WA.

From heavy lift support on an apron feeder overhaul, to reclaimer maintenance work at Yandi, through to modular building installs and new changerooms at for a community soccer club.

Different sites. Different scopes. Same standard: practical crews, good planning and the right gear in the right place.
