Another deck finalized before Christmas break! Spanning 60m2, this project involved tight access and substantial materials handling, with successful preservation of the pergolas and external wall in situ.

Interesting one from a couple of months ago.
Beautiful litt deck with a versiclad flyover over the top with lights.
Was an unusable dirt patch with a polycarbonate roof tucked under the eave.
We stripped the existing roof and pitched a flyover in to give the owners the maximum height possible for the bedroom views.

**Cantilevered deck replacement Sapphire Beach**
Tricky one, due to bottom level being tenanted, we had to span our bearer 6m over the top of an existing carport. Whilst steel would have been the preferred choice, we were only 200m back from the beach and logistics regarding hot dipping weren't feasible.
Managed to use 150x150 posts with a 425x65 h3 beam kept in line with existing ground level privacy screen. Engineer approved of course!
Original cantilever measured only 1600 where we've extended to 2300 making it a much more usable area for a table and chairs.
Existing handrail has been reused for the short term.
Privacy screen added to one side.

Been a little quiet on here recently so thought we'd share some of 2024's projects!
To end the year, we helped out our friends and main plumber, Dave and Nissa Orara Valley Plumbing with their balcony rebuild.
Currently waiting to be waterproofed and tiled!
Dave with his genius, has installed a box gutter system to catch the water runoff, along with fall integrated into the framing.

Completion of our Sandy Beach project for a couple of weeks ago.
Rebuilt rear deck with green hardwood to replace the 40+ year old joists.
Modwood deck for minimal maintenance,
Dressed Blackbutt stringers, treads, rails and balustrade.
We can work with any design/budget to bring a vision to reality!

New Blackbutt stairs and privacy screen to replace old, rotten stairs.
