This next EARTH BUILDING WORKSHOP on Saturday 11 July we will be starting a new project building a privacy wall for our COB FIRE BATH. Many many years ago I built this fire bath with an old steel bath from the dump and cobbed around it then rendered it with boiled linseed oil. The back of it was a space for a fire and it provided the kids and I with many beautiful nights under the stars soaking in a hot magnesium bath 💗 If you're interested in learning about building with cob, this is a perfect first project. We ran an Earth Building FNQ workshop at the Baya Gathering on the weekend at the beautiful Mungalli Creek Falls, stunning area with many waterfalls surrounding !! We built this cute cob couch with rock, sand and clay from the property 🌈🌺💜
