🐝 BEE CALM — IT’S SWARMING SEASON! 🐝
We’re getting LOTS of calls about bees at the moment, so here’s a little reminder… don’t panic!
At this time of year, you may notice a large cluster or swarm of bees suddenly appearing on a tree, fence, shed or around your property.
In many cases, they’re simply swarming and looking for a new home. 🏡🐝
If you spot a swarm:
🐝 Give them space
🐝 Keep children and pets away
🐝 Don’t spray them, disturb them or try to move them
🐝 Give them some time
🐝 Contact local community pages for bee keepers who might be able to come and move them safely
Often, the swarm will move on by itself once the bees have found somewhere suitable to go.
The important thing is to leave them alone and let them do what bees do! 💛
If they don’t move on and have established themselves somewhere on your property, give the team at Morris Pest & W**d Control a call.
Where necessary, feral European honey bees can be managed in accordance with the applicable requirements and standards.
So if you see bees — BEE calm, give them space and give them time. 🐝
