This is what you want to look for this time of year. You might notice the colour isn’t as deep or vibrant as it is in the warmer months, that’s winter dormancy!

Slower growth, softer colour… but come spring we will see that vibrant colour bounce right back. Dormancy is normal and it sets your lawn up to fire again in the warmer months 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Let’s talk seed heads 🌱

These aren’t weeds! They’re a natural part of your lawn’s lifecycle. Seed heads appear when your grass is under mild stress or responding to a change in season, shifting its energy from leaf growth to reproduction.

How to manage them:
A regular mow will remove the seed heads, and applying a liquid fertiliser like Exceed will help promote healthy, green leaf growth and restore your lawn’s appearance.
