ROOFING LABOURERS

Skyline Roofing & Sheetmetal are seeking apprentices and labourers to fill various vacancies within our roofing installation teams working on commercial and industrial construction sites around Launceston and Northern Tasmania.

For the apprentice positions, both school age applicants and mature age applicants are encouraged to apply. The apprenticeship is 4 years in total.

Successful applicants for the labouring positions who show a good attitude and work ethic can transition to an apprenticeship position as apprentices positions become available in the future. In most cases, you can complete the apprenticeship in less than 4 years because you will have been working onsite with us prior to commencing your apprenticeship.

Experience in the construction industry through work placements, previous work experience are highly regarded.

A white card is necessary and the ability to obtain a Working With Vulnerable People is highly desired.

Applicants for both roles can be assured of a position with a company that has a good team of people and if you have an issue, your concern will be sorted as best we can.

We’re pretty chuffed with the end result of much hard work by the team at Skyline Roofing on the St Lukes project.

One of our current projects is the new Legana Primary School.

Current stage of works include installing Spandek sheeting for the roof & walls in Colorbond® Pale Eucalypt, Evening Haze, Paperbark and Surfmist. This section really shows off the technical skills of our team, as it involved custom eaves gutters, rainheads and flashings to achieve what you see now.

We are grateful for the team at Vos Group for allowing us to be a part of this project.
