First day of the EcoXpert eMobility Partner Workshop with Schneider Electric.

Great to be in the room with industry professionals working through the EVlink Pro AC platform and the load management systems that allow EV charging to scale across buildings without major infrastructure upgrades.

This type of intelligent energy management is critical for strata and commercial sites as EV adoption continues to grow - start small, expand over time, and stay within available capacity.

Entertainment Venue – Power Upgrade Project

This project was initiated to address persistent overloading of the main switchboard caused by the kitchen’s increasing electrical demand. Our objective was to deliver a long-term solution that met three key requirements: zero disruption to operations, increased electrical capacity, and uninterrupted business continuity.

Scope of Works
• Engineering & Design: Detailed assessment of existing infrastructure, load calculations, and specification of upgraded capacity requirements.
• Infrastructure Upgrade: Installation of a new main switchboard and associated cabling to support higher load demands.
• Business Continuity Measures: Works were meticulously planned and staged outside of operational hours to ensure no downtime for the venue’s day-to-day activities.
• Testing & Commissioning: Comprehensive testing of all new systems to verify compliance, safety, and readiness for full operational load.

The outcome is a future-proofed electrical system capable of meeting the venue’s operational needs without compromising performance or guest experience.

✅ Capacity Assessment: Verified the facility’s power capacity to meet future demands.

✅ Equipment Compliance: Inspected the current state of equipment to ensure it meets all safety and compliance standards.

✅ Mains Cabling Review: Evaluated the condition of the mains cabling for reliability and performance.

✅ Upgrade Recommendations: Identified any necessary upgrades to accommodate the fit-out.

- Designing new lighting to reduce the electrical consumption of the carpark

- Upgrading all existing fittings and programming the buildings lighting to operate efficiently

- Complete the installation without affecting the day to day activities of the building

The project was completed while achieving each task that was set:

✅ Project manage the installation

✅ Coordinate with all owners and provide a works schedule

✅ Provide cost savings to the project installation by securing a government rebate under The Energy Savings Scheme

✅ Manage all components and criteria of the Energy Saving Schemes process

✅ Further reduce consumption and ongoing electricity costs by programming light fitting functionality to minimise usage when carpark was not operational

✅ All works were completed outside of ordinary hours not affecting the buildings operation
