Warren Park Field 2 Darwin NT sorted, and nobody even had to call a physio. 🏉

Home of NRL NT and the South Darwin Sporting League clubs where local rugby league families turn up every weekend, kids included to play and watch the game they love.

We constructed new pathways and viewing platforms connecting Field 1 and 2, plus a shelter so nobody's dodging sun or rain to watch their team.

8 on the crew, (7 local subcontractors) Ned Syme kept the site running as supervisor from first pour to final handover, with Billy Burke putting in the hard yards alongside him day in & day out. Big shout out and thank you to the whole team for getting this one across the line.

Three conferences in one week the SHBuild team downed tools and got amongst it. 🔨

Scott and Chloe at the NT Resources and Mining Conference and the Australian Gas and Pipeline Conference here in Darwin, while Jas and Cassie flew the flag at SCOPE 2026 in Perth — CCIWA's Supply Chain Opportunities & Procurement Engagement Forum, 400+ buyers and major project owners sizing up who does what.

Met plenty of great faces contractors, investors & best of all the people running the companies calling the shots. Had a yarn with Chief Minister The Honourable Lia Finocchiaro MLA, Joshua Burgoyne MLA, and Nicole Manison, VP of Government Relations and Public Affairs at Tamboran Resources & this being the Territory, plenty of the real networking swam through the pubs afterwards.

The timing's no accident. Beetaloo's first gas started flowing into the NT grid on 1 September more than 40 terajoules a day & forecast to add over $17 billion and 13,000-plus jobs to the Territory over the next couple of decades.

25 years local & sleeves rolled up ready for whatever the NT builds next.

Backing Nhulunbuys future.🏗️
Dargaville Village Demountable Installation, Nhulunbuy.
What a transformation. From cleared empty lots in January 2026 to 14 completed homes handed over in July 2026.
SHBuild partnered with Rirratjingu Aboriginal Corporation Project Management to deliver this crucial housing project: 14 dwellings across 7 lots — 7 x 3-bedroom and 7 x 2-bedroom demountables. The scope spanned logistics, earthworks, carpentry, fabrication, plumbing, electrical, concreting and cleaning from site prep and concrete blocks through to installing the demountables, carport footings and er****on.
And we handed it back to RPM in under 5 months even through the disruption of Cyclone Narelle. 💪
A big thank you. This one doesn't happen without the right people. Thank you to Rirratjingu Project Management for trusting us with the build.
To the other local trades East Arnhem Plumbing Services and Arnhem Electrical and Refrigeration, BAB WELDING, Kantis Cleaning and Gumatj Civil on site who worked in seamlessly alongside our crew, and to our own team who brought leadership and quality workmanship every single day. Special mention to our Site Supervisor Nathan Bulner whose building experience and problem solving carried this project through.

More homes, more local jobs and skills that stay right here in the community.

Happy Birthday Sister Anne (95 years old), from all of us at SHBuild!🎉

The SHBuild team has happily volunteered plenty of time to lend Sister Anne a hand, and every moment has been a privilege.
We've formed strong bonds while working in Wurrumiyanga, and Sister Anne Gardiner is a big part of that. She's called this community home since arriving on Bathurst Island in 1952 with the Catholic mission, aged just 22 more than seven decades of service to the Tiwi people.

So when she asked for our help to relocate a statue rescued from the building site after the old clinic was demolished, we didn't think twice. A special ceremony was held to celebrate the statue's new home, and it was a real honour to be part of.
"I love those men, they looked after me," she said. "They were very kind and it was lovely to see the reverence of those builders."

We're proud to partner with the communities we have the privilege to work in and prouder still to call Sister Anne a friend.
