Rewind back to mid December we had Stewart from Turf Levelling Australia over to Laser scarify a couple high areas down. A different approach to a full green laser topdress. Hoppers Club had a problem area on the green with a higher area next to a low edge causing the bowls to run outwards. Aprox 8/10mm laser scarified down on the high area then 6/8mm top dressed on surveyed low area. The Vic weather has finally improved and after 4 weeks the laser scarified areas have almost recovered.

WANTED: Greenkeeper Assistant-
Geelong Turf Management is seeking a person to assist with the maintenance and upkeep of grass bowling greens predominantly working in the western suburbs. (Werribee,Newport,Laverton) Car License Required.
You must be available 5 x mornings per week Monday-Friday Approx 15-20 hours per week, from Sep 2024 - April 2025. Occasional weekend morning may be required.
Main duties include mowing, rolling, line marking, cutting surrounds. Would suit semi-retired, Casual position but open to the idea of apprentice for the right applicant.
