Throwback to the start of the year, when we completed this storage and paneling upgrade for a Japanese restaurant.

A great little upgrade for this Japanese restaurant, making better use of the space above the serving counter, cashier and entry area.

We designed and built custom storage to provide some much-needed extra space while keeping the finished product clean and in keeping with the restaurant’s existing style.

We used Tasmanian Oak throughout the new work to complement and match the existing timber décor, helping the new storage blend seamlessly into the space rather than looking like an addition.

It was great to complete a project that improved the functionality of the restaurant while maintaining its character and feel.

Now we’re looking forward to coming back to try the food! 🍣🥢

Rumpus/bedroom Transformation!

Our client wanted to make better use of their rumpus room by fixing an out-of-level floor and creating a more practical, enclosed space.

We levelled and corrected the floor to provide a more level and finished surface, then closed off the room with a cavity slider — giving the client the option to separate the space when needed while keeping the room feeling open when the door is tucked away.

Another project completed, another happy client!

Concrete Slab Pour Complete!

It was a big day on site as we poured this concrete slab from start to finish to get everything placed, levelled and finished to a high standard.

We used 40 MPa strength concrete for a stronger, more durable slab, providing the performance and strength required for the build.

The slab was finished with a burnished finish, giving the concrete a smooth, refined appearance while showcasing the natural character of the finished slab.

A full day of hard work from the team, but the result speaks for itself!

Where back at our Beach view site to prepare our concrete slab.

A key part of the preparation is creating an effective thermal break between the concrete slab and the ground. We use XPA material beneath the slab to help reduce thermal bridging, improving the separation between the slab and the ground as part of the overall building envelope.

We’ve also used thicker steel reinforcement, providing increased tensile capacity and strength within the slab and helping create a robust foundation designed for the demands of the build.

From ground preparation and insulation through to reinforcement and final checks, careful preparation before the concrete arrives is critical to achieving a quality result.

Project Complete!

What a transformation! The finished decking area has created the perfect outdoor entertaining space, a place to sit back, enjoy good company and take in the view.

From the original deck through to the extended, covered entertaining area, it’s been great to watch this project come to life.

A huge thank you to all the trades who played their part in bringing this one together. Quality work from start to finish, and a fantastic result we’re proud to put our name to.

The finish line is in sight!

The roof is on, the electrical work is all done, and this outdoor entertaining area is really coming together.

Just the painting to go and this project will be ready to enjoy!

A new outdoor entertaining space is coming to life!

With the decking boards now being installed and the framing nearing completion, this project is really starting to take shape.

Thoughtful construction, quality workmanship and attention to detail are coming together to create a stylish, functional space designed for entertaining and enjoying the outdoors.

👷‍♂️ Concrete is going in!
After a few weeks of hard yakka, we are finally bringing materials in! Once we lazered these piers in level we have a strong foundation to start the build on!
Can’t wait to start the slab preparations!
