Most PI claims do not arise from complex legal issues. They generally arise from everyday project pressures, communication failures, relationship breakdowns and undocumented or poorly documented decisions.

This session will explore real examples of claims against architects and provide practical and actionable insights into the mistakes that frequently lead to problems and the steps that can be taken to avoid them.

Natasha Stojanovich of Meridian Lawyers
Natasha is a Principal Lawyer and a National Practice Group Leader at Meridian Lawyers and has more than 20 years' experience in the legal industry. Natasha has spent the last 15 years of her career acting for architects, engineers, surveyors / certifiers and other construction professionals. She has acted in defence of various civil claims and disciplinary prosecutions by regulators (for instance the Victorian Building Authority, the Building and Plumbing Commission and the Architects Registration Board of Victoria).
